Rusty Ray covers clients across the health care sector, ranging from large pharmaceutical to early-stage drug development companies, as well as many service companies.
For the past 15 years, Ray has worked in banking, focusing exclusively on health care. Ray served as deputy director for eight years at a Washington-based think tank that conducts independent economic research. During his tenure, the organization conducted a number of studies related to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
Ray also worked with The Meningitis Research Foundation in London where he worked to support basic research to cure the disease.
Ray is currently on the Board of Directors of Apricus Bio (NASDAQ: APRI). He has been a director since 2009 and served as a member of Compensation, Audit, Corporate Governance/Nominating (Chair). Ray holds an MBA from Fordham University and received a BS in Biology from Wake Forest University.
